To restore these photos, I used the crop, burn, dodge, blur, and spot restoration tool. I also adjusted exposure and contrast. I was able to bring back the contrast because the darker areas got much darker and more visible. I think I was very successful in my restoring. There is a very visible difference in the before and after. The thing that made the biggest difference was the contrast- it made the darker areas much more visible. I enjoyed this process, but I found some of the work a bit tedious. While I like the end result, it took a lot of work to get there. I think it's worth it!
