My name illustration is a combination of 11 or so images that I feel represent me or my interests. The two lights shining down are stage lights, representing my love of theatre. The p with arrows is the pansexual symbol. The infinity sign with the arrow and line is the genderfluid sign. The lines below the pansexual sign is my nickname in japanese, and the book, music note, pencil, and paintbrush all combine to form the word art. The cat is modeled after my cat, Phoebe. The peace sign is symbolizing my hope for world peace (yes, I'm a hippie). The I represents Iowa State, the skull is based off Dia de los Muertos, and it also represents my fondness for the Spanish language. Finally, the NES controller represents not only my love of video games, but also my childhood, since I used to play Super Mario Bros. 3 with my dad. This was created by drawing the image on paper, then putting it into Adobe Illustrator and tracing the image. The idea behind the artwork is to express myself and my interests. I hoped to create a way to represent myself with images, and i think I succeeded. Overall, I understand that it's not perfect (there are certainly things I'd fix) but I like how it turned out.
