Like the block print pattern, the illustrator pattern is inspired by my love for space. This pattern illustrates twelve of my favorite constellations- Aquarius, Scorpius, Leo, Gemini, Orion, Corona Borealis, Pegasus, Andromeda, Puppis, Draco, Lyra, and Canis Major. Originally, the pattern was more spread out, but I thought it looked too spaced out, so I moved them closer together. I was also considering adding small, white dots to break up the constellations, but I decided that would be too much. I like how this turned out, but I wish that some of the colors would stand out more and the same colors were not so close together. Overall, I am pleased with how this pattern turned out.
