The block print pattern was inspired by my love for space. Originally, there were more stars and planets that were supposed to have more detail, but most of the item wouldn't fit on the block and the details didn't transfer well, so I decided that simpler was better. There also were not dots in the background, but I decided that looked too boring, so I added in some dots. I am pleased with how the stars and moon turned out, but I think the planets with rings could have turned out better. It was a challenge to make all the bodies fit onto the block, but I made do with what I liked. Overall, I really liked how my pattern turned out.
